Not only do A-listers like Renee Zellweger, Jude Law, Dustin Hoffman, Clive Owen and Julianne Moore shop here, but Kidding Awound was the exclusive supplier for the toy-store feature film Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium. The shop is so popular among Hollywood glitterati that it keeps extended hours during the Toronto Film Festival.

One of the top sellers at Kidding Awound is the rainbow maker; a solar-powered Swarovski crystal set that, when hung in sunlit windows, rotates and fills your room with mini rainbows. You’ll also find bow & arrow sets that shoot “friendly fire” in the form of mini marshmallows! From the Marshmallow Fun Company, this bow comes with a quiver full of mallows and enough power to propel your treats up to 30 feet! What the store is best known for however, are the toys that are its namesake –wind up toys and tops in traditional and modern styles.

Best toy store in the city hands down! There's great joke gifts, stocking stuffers, and tons and tons of wind-up toys. Its al just piled up in there one thing on top of another. Funny magnets, funny cards, funny slogans, and funny gifts. There's also old school, vintage toys but they're expensive and more for collectors than anything else. The woman who owns it is super knowledgeable and will order in any rare little thing you might be looking for. It's great for a little gift or a cute postcard. Everything is unique.

Kidding Awound is where I go for birthday cards. They have a big selection of HILARIOUS and witty cards! Too funny! I sometimes spend my lunch hour reading all the cards in this store! I hear they also have toys and gadgets...
